According to Yahoo Biz, for the first time ever a major U.S. entertainment company and a top Korean MMOG developer are working together on a new MMORPG. Cartoon Network New Media a current leader in online gaming and entertainment and Grigon Entertainment a top Korean MMOG developer are working on a new MMORPG to be released in 2008.
Cartoon Network New Media, already a leader in online entertainment and gaming, will debut the game in the United States. This is the first-ever partnership between a U.S. entertainment company and a Korean developer to create an MMOG for the global marketplace.
The Cartoon Network is developing a “massively” multiplayer online game in the vein of “World of Warcraft” and “EverQuest” for kids 6 to 14.
